Please join us for a biochemistry and molecular biology seminar by Christa Hestekin, Ph.D., assistant professor of chemical engineering at the University of Arkansas, at noon on Friday, May 18, in the R. Bunn Gautier Building, room 118. Dr. Hestekin will present "Microchannel Electrophoresis for Detection of Protein Aggregation."

Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center will host the 13th Annual Zubrod Memorial Lecture and Cancer Research Poster Session on Friday, May 18, in honor of its founding director, Charles Gordon Zubrod, M.D. The event will begin at 1 p.m. at Jackson Memorial Hospital's Diagnostic Treatment Center, second-floor conference center.

Neurology Grand Rounds: “New and Old Advances in Clinical Research and Treatment in Myasthenia Gravis”

The Department of Neurology will host Grand Rounds on Friday, May 18, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Mailman Center for Child Development, eighth-floor auditorium. Richard J. Barohn, M.D., professor and chair of neurology at the University of Kansas Medical Center, will present “New and Old Advances in Clinical Research and Treatment in Myasthenia Gravis.”

3rd Annual Red Masquerade ALS Gala

The Department of Neurology will celebrate its 3rd Annual Red Masquerade ALS Gala on Friday, May 18, at the Hilton Bentley Miami/South Beach hotel, 101 Ocean Drive. The VIP cocktail reception and silent auction will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 8 p.m.
