Scopus/SciVal Experts Class
Learn how to use Scopus/SciVal Experts at a class on Wednesday, April 17, from noon to 1 p.m. at Calder Memorial Library, third-floor electronic classroom.
Scopus is the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature and quality web sources with smart tools to track, analyze, and visualize research. SciVal Experts is a powerful tool that allows researchers to pinpoint University of Miami biomedical faculty by their specialty area. A one-stop resource to locate potential multidisciplinary team members, collaborators, or mentors at UM, SciVal Experts draws upon publications from PubMed (the past 20 years) and NIH-funded research projects from NIH RePORTER to automatically create and update dynamic faculty profiles.
