General Dentistry Offered at New UMH Office 10.27.2010

Upon concluding her tour of the Department of Surgery's Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and General Dentistry's new comprehensive surgery and dentistry office at University of Miami Hospital, Annabelle Sanchez, a clinical therapist in the hospital's psychiatric department, had much the same enthusiastic reaction as others who attended the October 20 open house.

2010-11 Arsht Research on Ethics and Community Grants Awarded 10.27.2010

Transplant Pioneers Celebrate 40 Years of Life-Saving Care 10.26.2010

Hundreds Join 2010 Walk for Suicide Prevention 10.25.2010

On a beautiful Sunday morning on the University of Miami’s Coral Gables campus, close to 1,000 people turned out to take part in the Out of the Darkness community walk for suicide prevention. JJ Vance Memorial Summer Internship Lures Gifted Local Teens to the Miller School 10.20.2010

The competition was fierce for the 2010 JJ Vance Memorial summer internship in biological and computational sciences this year, with more than 30 of the area's brightest high school students vying for the unique opportunity to work alongside expert faculty and post-dctoral fellows at the John P. Hussman Institute for Human Genomics and gain hands-on research experience.
