The University of Miami's Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism has long been a leader in the diagnosis and treatment of endocrine-related diseases including diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, and lipid disorders.  Today, the Division also has experienced physicians in the areas of bone metabolic diseases, neuroendocrinology, reproductive endocrinology, and the metabolic syndrome. The Division’s clinical laboratory is fully accredited and is equipped to perform state of the art diagnostic procedures assisting in the diagnosis and follow up of patients with endocrine diseases. In order to offer the highest quality out-patient and in-patient care, our faculty members work closely with other exceptional physicians at University of Miami, including endocrine surgeons, neurosurgeons, nuclear medicine specialists, radiologists and pathologists. This comprehensive, integrated approach simplifies the patient experience and contributes to the high quality of care delivered by our physicians.

Education and Research are also a priority at the University of Miami's Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. The Division offers a highly sought Fellowship in Endocrinology, an exciting training experience that promotes the development of focused clinical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to stay abreast of the newest knowledge in the field of endocrinology. These goals are achieved through the close interaction between the fellows and our internationally recognized team of physician scientists and basic scientists working on research projects spanning the breadth of the field.  Our faculty members and staff strive to achieve the highest levels of satisfaction for both our patients and their referring physicians.  We look forward to exceeding your expectations as a patient, as a fellow, or as a scientist.
