Performance Evaluation Update

PERFORMANCE EVALUATION CYCLE BEGINS

All employees must receive their annual performance evaluations between Wednesday, February 1, 2012 and Friday, April 27, 2012. Supervisors must submit completed evaluations to their departmental Human Resources Representatives no later than Friday, April 27, 2012. All performance evaluation overall ratings must be entered into DHRS by the Departmental HR Reps no later than April 30, 2012.

The performance evaluation templates have not changed. All MSOM employees (exempt and non-exempt) must be evaluated utilizing one of the three performance evaluation templates. There are separate templates for employees in management positions, which include the core leadership competencies. Leaders who are participating in UCare/LEM will not be evaluated until after the start of the new fiscal year. For this group of leaders, no evaluation is due at this time.

Employees of the University of Miami Specialty Hospitals (UMHC and ABLEH) will continue to use Halogen's on-line e-Appraisal system. The system will also open Wednesday, February 1, 2012. Below are the links to the evaluation templates. These forms can also be found on the Medical Human Resources website (www.med.miami.edu/hr) under "Performance Management".
