Performance Evaluation Update

PERFORMANCE EVALUATION CYCLE BEGINS

The Performance Evaluation period is important to all staff as it provides an opportunity for important dialogue regarding achievements, career aspirations, and future goals. It is a requirement that all UM employees be evaluated on an annual basis. This year, the annual performance evaluation cycle begins Monday, February 4, 2013 and continues until Friday, April 26, 2013.

All MSOM employees (exempt and non-exempt), not in the specialty hospitals, must be evaluated utilizing one of the two performance evaluation forms – one for staff, and one for those in a management position. Below are the links to the evaluation templates. These forms can also be found on the Medical Human Resources website www.med.miami.edu/hr under "Performance Management".

Employees of the University of Miami Specialty Hospitals (UMHC and ABLEH) will continue to use Halogen's on-line e-Appraisal system. The system will also open Wednesday, February 1, 2012. Below are the links to the evaluation templates. These forms can also be found on the Medical Human Resources website www.med.miami.edu/hr under "Performance Management".

Employees of the University of Miami’s specialty hospitals (UMHC and ABLEH) will continue to use Halogen's on-line e-Appraisal system. The system will follow the same evaluation cycle as the rest of the campus.

Supervisors must submit completed evaluations to their Human Resources Business Partners or to the Medical Human Resources Office no later than Friday, April 26, 2013 as evaluation overall ratings will be entered into DHRS by Medical Human Resources no later than April 30, 2013.
