Do You Ride a Bike to Campus? Register with Security and Receive a Free Lock!
All students, faculty and staff who ride or keep a bicycle on campus should register it through the Security Department. Not only will registrants receive a free sticker that will deter theft, but they will help Security keep their bicycle safe and identify it in the event it is recovered.
Anyone who rides their bike to campus at least five days per month also will receive a free U-lock, which is more effective at preventing theft than traditional cables or chain locks. To register your bike and receive a free lock, just bring your bicycle and your University ID to the Security Operations Office in Dominion Parking Garage, suite 160, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
