Relaxation Techniques for Coping with Stress
The Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) will host a lunchtime seminar, “Mindful Living,” on Wednesday, December 9, from noon to 1 p.m. in Dominion Tower, room 301C.
This seminar is offered to those interested in learning how to manage day-to-day anxiety and stress by using calming, effective relaxation techniques. You will discover how to accurately identify your stress, recognize your stress reactions,and focus your mind on problem solving. You will learn specific stress reduction methods you can use both at work and home to help you manage daily stressors. This seminar will be facilitated by a UM FSAP consultant. FSAP Health and Wellness seminars are offered as part of the University of Miami’s Well ‘Canes Program.
