Gordon Center Announces Cardiac Life Support Classes
The Gordon Center for Research in Medical Education announces availability in several upcoming American Heart Association courses through the end of the year. The AHA courses at the Gordon Center provide the highest quality, hands-on, simulation-based training for all health care providers.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Renewal (1 day) – Designed for the experienced provider, this is a fast-paced American Heart Association course covering sudden cardiac arrest and other cardiac emergencies, utilizing case-based scenarios. Learners must already have an ACLS Provider card.
Dates: 8/22, 9/28, 10/17, 11/17, 12/12
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support & Basic Life Support (2 days) – This is a combination of two American Heart Association courses over two days that teaches the skills and knowledge necessary to manage sudden cardiac arrest and other cardiac emergencies, utilizing case-based scenarios. The interpretation and management of dysrhythmia is heavily stressed. Basic Life Support CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support cards are awarded upon successful completion. For new and renewal training.
