At the University of Miami Health System, we offer compassionate, expert care and a full range of services for children and families at our Children’s Heart Center. Patients have access to the latest medical advancements in a child-friendly environment, delivered by a specially trained pediatric team. We treat children of all ages, from newborns to teens. Our board-certified pediatric cardiologists work with pediatric surgeons, vascular specialists, pediatric nurses, and other pediatric health care providers to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care.
Our pediatric heart and vascular specialists use the most advanced approaches in our technologically advanced Children’s Heart Center. The center has a 33-bed pediatric intensive care unit, two pediatric cardiac surgery operating rooms, and a pediatric cardiac catheterization lab for minimally invasive treatments.
