About Miller: 5 to Thrive

5 to Thrive Follow Up

Dear Colleagues,

We continue on our pursuit to transform UHealth through 5 To Thrive — from our exciting launch in April to visits across our facilities this summer, we’ve greatly enjoyed hearing from you. This is a team project and all of us need to be fully engaged in realizing our shared vision. We are excited to share some highlights from the recent tour of our satellite facilities.

Hearing the enthusiasm of so many of you during our visits is inspiring and motivating. It’s clear that you, our people, are our number one asset. Dr. Dipen Parekh and Mary Beth Briscoe share your excitement and, as co-chairs of 5 To Thrive, are proud to champion the pillars included in the initiative – People, Service, Quality, Growth and Operations.

Their personal areas of expertise as Chief Clinical Officer and Chief Financial Officer reflect our commitment to the future of UHealth. With the other champions, project managers and colleagues working on distinct projects, we are responsible for ensuring that we use our resources wisely to deliver the quality care and patient experience our communities count on us to provide. You are our partners in making UHealth a truly preeminent academic health system for the 21st century.

We are excited to lead this effort and we invite you to join us. In the video, Krystal Perez said it best – “employees are the foundation of everything we do.” As members of the UHealth team, you drive our success in transforming healthcare for our region. We welcome and depend on your continued feedback. Please send your comments or questions to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

We look forward to hearing more from you and sharing more of our progress in the coming weeks. You’ll find previous updates and news about 5 to Thrive here. We hope you’ll join us in embracing our path forward and celebrating our accomplishments.
